Peer Education

RLabsNigeria_YTFWe all know that we are often most influenced by our peers-those with whom we share common interests and whose values and perceptions relate closely to our own.  Peer education taps into this reality by empowering people to positively influence those around them.

I have a wide variety of experience training young people aged 12-25 in both the UK and East Africa.

These workshops are predominantly designed for professionals or volunteers working with young people who would like to empower them to act as positive role models to their peers and friends.

YesYouthCanI am also able to directly train peer educators in issues including sexual and reproductive health, general health and well-being.  These courses can be taught in the school environment or in more informal environments including youth groups and sports clubs.

If you work with young people and are interested in receiving training in how to train young people as peer educators or in me conducting peer education training for young people, please contact me here.
